thing is though, what ryan did out there, as much as its good, everyones seen it all before from him. but when you look at riders like maddog and craig mast, they throw down something new everytime they get 90 seconds on a park, and surely the main point in these contests is bringing something new and original to bmx. and oh yeah have you noticed nearly all of ryan's landings he like nearly slams, he's like the most unsmooth rider out there :L

Fuck yeah Kyle so good
I knew I should have drove out. I had some pool stuff I needed to get done
fuck all these little bitch ass kids have no clue how good and fucking crazy Ryan really is and one the most chill dudes in bmx. Fuck yeah Ryan!

ok guys if you watch real close nyquist did a lot of tricks his opposite way as well as his normal way so ya it may not look as cool as a 3 double whip but it takes some serious skill to ride like that and he didnt fall and that counts for a lot in a contest just like doing a few setup airs will take away from the score so if your so concerned about progression go learn something new and compete against those guys. and besides i dont hear them complaining lol

probably there were some tricks (and crashes as well) that were not in this vid. Apart from this Nuyquist run was boring. The last 3-4 rider should have been in the top 3.
Garett was shit, he only did what he usually does in every contest. He does it really good but there is no innovation...

The last 3 riders were insane!!!!!!!!!!!

garret reynolds can only tuck, barspin, tailwhip, table\invert, and ive seen him t bog once.dennis enersons downside ice on tthe wall ride was sweet

nyquist rode really well dont get me wrong, but there was no variation or innovation, if runs like that win every contest then whats the encouragement for people to try something new? people dont want to see the same runs at every compeition. take craig mast, one of the only guys in the world doing front flip whips and front flairs, and he came 8th?! still, that aside, amazing riding, looked like a really good comp!

Nyquist should have one. I was there. This video this has some highlights; Nyquist's run had the most and hardest stuff packed into it. A few guys crashed (which wasn't in this) and a few guys did a bunch of setup airs (which aren't in this). It was a great contest and Nyquist came through big - everyone killed it, though. I've never seen Jeremiah Smith or Craig Mast ride this good in their entire BMX careers!

ya i feel reynolds nyquist and dhers should have gotten a lower place, they all rode good but it just seemed like the guys who were lower in rankings were just going way bigger. maybe it is that there name isnt as big as nyquist or any other guys

I'm not sure on who SHOULD have won, but Nyquist definitely wasn't good enough for top 3.

Either Dennis Enarson, Craig Mast, Dhers or Jeremiah should've won. Enarsons transfer whip was the craziest trick at the contest.

The reason Nyquist won because when he rides, he ride with no fear and gos big. Look at Garrett Barspins and shitty tucks. And if you guys were nyquist age you would still ride contests cause they are fun. Dont be bitter that a guy who rides with a high seat post won cause its not in style, He doesnt talk shit on they way our bikes look.

Can anyone awnser this who is a legit rider? Why is there so much hate in BMX? We all ride for the same reason because its fun and we like it. So why cant everyone be happy for any rider?

ehhh nyquist wasnt as good as i thought he would be only cause he didnt have a variety of tricks. he still deserved the win and hey im stoked on seeing an old school rider kill it compared to everyone else. i just dont really agree with the judges. still, good job all riders, stoked on ryan winning thou!

What I don't get is that a competition is for giving prizes to the best run but when Nyquist rode, I'd probaly rank him at the most, 8th place, Craig Mast was awesome, he should have definately been in the top 3, as well as Maddog. I think Dhers was probaly the only rider who was in the correct place.

nyquist is gay, boring as to watch, so repetitive and predictable its just barspins everywhere with his gay seat stuck up his ass, hes done hes dash in the bmx game now hes just getting greedy

Craig Mast should have got first
why is Ryan even still doing these contests ? He has enough money as it is...make room for the new boys

That is some seriously crazy riding. They all rode so well!

Nyquist deserved that but I recon Jeremiah should have placed higher. Not takin anythin away from Maddog cause he was crazy, I just thort Miah threw down a greater variaty of tricks and used more of the course.
