just built my new trailboss and took it to Rays MTB in Cleveland. I learned a few things.

A) The weather in Cleveland sucks so bad even the buildings are throwing shit at cars and trucks..This is outside Rays not 5 min after we went in.. The park is amazing.

cool Dont try a 29 - 9 gearset. Its too hard in parks unless your using the whole park to get a run on a 40ft gap.

With a 9 tooth rear what are most of you running? 175mm cranks.

28 - 9 on my hyper ( can’t fit a 30 tooth) , just bought a 30 tooth primo analog guard sprocket to put on my volume for 30 to 9

25-10 atm. Not by choice though. The wheels came on a different bike I picked up recently, and the bike was geared 28-10. Sold the sprocket and the better one I acquired more recently was 25t, and the cranks that came with it are 24mm. I also have 165mm cranks too. Not that big of a deal to me tbh.

Damn that sucks about that Chevy in the pic though. Nice truck, sad to see that.

28-9 on 180MM cranks-I need new cranks.

BUT they work so it is what it is.

Also the front stoppers are coming off, might lose the gyro too. We shall see.


Bummer about the bricks on the trucks.

Agreed, just finally tried 165mm from 175mm for years And I usually run 25/9 or 30/11 (2.7ish ratios)
