I just bought a profile mini hub. It is female. I put it on my bike however when I pedal it make a weird noise and it doesn't sound too good. Are they all like this? How do I fix it? Also how doi tighten the damn thing? I tighten it and the other bolt spins to and when I hold the opposite one with an Allan key the chain gets lose?

front or rear? could be the bearings. could be a cracked cone nut. if it's rear it could be the pawls/springs since theyre notoriously weak or it could be that it's missing the adaptors. we need more info to go on and properly diagnose this problem

I'm on the vital legit list!

It's a rear hub, it's only when I pedal. When I let is coast down a hill etc. it's fine. It's sort of a low slow clickingg noise

Mine sounded harsh and skipped a few times when it was brand new. After a few days of break in time,it's fine.

Mostly peaceful posting on vital.
