another person on amazon says his was 24.7 lbs, probably without brakes or something but I don't know. I don't think it's 26.75 lbs though it seems heavy for full cromo,

should have gotten the mongoose l100, it's full cromo with sealed bearings, high volume tires, pivitol seat e.t.c and its $198 right now for the bergandy one on amazon

No if you are going to start bmx go brand name Some good bmx brands to look for: Eastern, Mongoose, Redline, Odyssey, Sunday, Fit, DK, Haro, United

It`s not that the GT bikes there are all bad It`s just that they are a beginners bmx, most have chromoly front triangle on the frame, which you would see on brand name entry level bikes. They aren`t anything a professional would ride though, it`s more ... more »

No It`s worth way more than 50 bucks, bicycle blue book doesn`t take into account that It`s vintage, go to bmx museum

Converting Raleigh tarantula mountain bike into a 26 inch bmx cruiser. I bought some parts but the rest will be taken from a vintage baja 20 inch bmx. The bike has no shocks so i don`t need to change forks. Hoping it turns out.

they should make a chain that you can stretch so if you need a new one you don't have to take apart the old chain, like a flexible chain does this even make sense?

Eastern is not crap they make great professional completes and sell high quality parts at a good price.
