I did try a 20.75 again yesterday and initially it felt decent but after riding a while it seemed to hurt my lower back from being stretched out. Was close though I almost thought it was better

Reply to what bar height should i be running 9/12/2020 6:24 AM

I’m about 5’8.5 - 5’9 and ride: 9.75” 32mm rise and stack height maxed out Tall headset cap etc 50mm stem Thinking about going to 10 or 10.5. My middle/upper back hurts if I ride anything lower.

More upsweep on your bars Lower air pressure Wider tires Land backwheel first and not nose heavy when doing tricks

Reply to Anyone check out the new Dan Kruk video? 9/7/2020 10:25 AM

Haven’t seen it but rails breaking have been in plenty of videos. It’s nothing new. I don’t think damaging people’s stuff is cool like someone’s rail to their house or whatever but a big business that makes millions a year or city railings etc idrc lol ... more »

Reply to Vegan trainers for riding? 9/7/2020 10:13 AM

Pretty sure etnies has some. The older vans rowley shoes used to be vegan but I don’t think they are anymore. Pretty sure Emerica is coming out with some next season. I’m not vegan I just follow skate shoes and see this topic brought up a lot with skaters ... more »

Also on the t1 frame but in 20.5 I thought it was cool they offered 20.25 they did that with the new Ruben’s also. Always wanted a barcode but again 20.75 + lol. The best was when companies offered 20.6 as imo that’s the best length for mid height riders. ... more »

Reply to Broc Raiford Signature Sunday Frame 9/7/2020 10:03 AM

I think it should be made in their size no matter what with additional sizes just so you don’t limit the market otherwise we wouldn’t even have options under 20.75 other than park frames. Like the new Hoffman Seth Kimbrough frame and the bama, all of ... more »

Not good that it’s only 20.75+

Reply to Why do they do this? 9/4/2020 5:22 PM

That’s okay I had an old profile cassette that was too wide for one of my frames so I’d have to pull the frame apart to get the wheel on

Agreed Vans are wack.

Reply to Crank Length For Crankflips 9/2/2020 11:30 AM

Been on 160s for years. They spin fast and easy if I want to crankflip but I usually have my chain as tight as possible. 175 is so outdated unless you’re riding trails/ flowy park. Pretty sure I learned crankflips on 170s.

I’ve not sure I’ve heard of his signature frame with them. I remember the one he rode riding for them that was multi colored. Like a brown, blue something frame around 05. One of my favorite riders. I still have the 2012 t1 and was one of my favorite ... more »

Looks good dude nice to see this. Fly was such a good company back in the day. My first real bike was a Fly Mosca 2 with a Mosca stem and 3 amigos bars and I had the 3 amigos frame from around this era too.

How good is the grip? I’ve wanted to try these for a while but that herringbone zig zag shit is always 50/50. Do your pedals lock into the tread pretty good? Not all slippery and shit

Reply to Bmx shoes help 8/25/2020 8:27 AM

The team classics have a similar grip pattern and look good, they don’t have that pointy elf toe. I’ve rode the charges and the grip could be better but I think my pedals just worn down from pedal grinds.

I think vans are wack tbh the grip is good but the shoes suck. Etnies, Emerica, Nike sb are usually good

It’s actually a huffy. Looks to me like the supercharger or at least that’s what looks the most similar. Early 2000s race bike. http://neueinc.com/websites_examples/huffybmxcom/super.html

Reply to Does a shorter stem cancel out a longer frame? 8/12/2020 4:54 PM

If you have a longer frame and put a shorter stem on it’s not going to perform the same as the shorter frame when doing tricks. Meaning the stem doesn’t effect the wheel base just where you hold your bars.
