Ok, so now there's a forum, let's start using it. Post up your bigger-than-20" BMX bikes. I want to see them ALL!

New pic!
This is my 2012 Mirraco 20Forty, my street/park bike... it's pretty stock, although I am running Sunday 24umph XL bars, a Sunday Freeze stem, a Dia-Compe Tech77 brake lever, and Odyssey Path K-Lyte tires.

This is my 2009 GHP Twenty4, my "race" bike... it, too, is pretty stock save for a gearing change (44/18), S&M one-o-one pedals, and a Knight Bike Co. Ruf-Neck stem (a tip-of-the-hat to my old-school roots, heh.)

C'mon, there's gotta be more big-wheeled BMX bikes on Vital BMX!

Any reason to post my ride....

I'm jealous. I wanted a Wave-C when I got my Mirraco but couldn't afford it. I'm slowly turning it into one, though... got the Sunday bars, my Sunday stem just arrived today and will be installed tonight, and hopefully in the next couple of months I'll snag the 24.1 forks.

Was rockin a 'Goose prototype based off the Mod C geo for awhile but it felt like it was missin something sorta like when you order a Coke and they give you RC cola.

That 'Goose prototype... did that become the Thrive? I was looking at the Thrive on the Mongoose website and it's very much like the Wave-C. Looked to be a really cool bike.

Yes it's the Thrive. Nice bike and all but I was lucky enough to ride a Mod-C proto 1st and that wad all I wanted
from the start. The Thrive is worth it though little longer rear with a nice wishbone.22" tt bb height not as high as
Mod-C.I'd say good for street and dirt jumping.

Yeah... I lust for a Mod/Wave-C. I'd happily take a Thrive, too, though.

Let some of the youngsters try out the Sunday.

Put some bigger bars on.Slams but they were too tall so went back to my 24umphs

Brokenbmx, your STLRS is rad.

goride70, how did the youngsters like the Sunday? Your bike looks awesome with the pegs and front brake, I am working to get mine setup the same.

They all like it and talk about puttin brakes on their bikes but it's "uncool " to have brakes these days.
One thing though is since they always ride my bike I try theirs and I really do like the newschool 20's,much more nimble and
easier to throw around. I'm in the process of building one up.

Yeah, the new-school 20s are nice... but I've yet to ride one I feel stable on. I just feel sketchy about 20" wheels under my 6'3" 250lbs bulk. :D

I feel ya!That's why we went to bigger bikes we needs something a litter more stable. One of the guys I ride
with is about your size but about 6'1" and he rides on a Cult complete with a 21" tt and he's 49yo!!
Been telling him to go get a 24 but he likes his Cult and it is a fun ride. It is funny to see a big guy on a little
bike though.
